Mitsubishi Chemical Group’s Cassel Site in Billingham, UK, has been awarded a gold Sustainability Rating by EcoVadis, the world’s leading business sustainability rating provider. This places the site in the top five percent of companies rated globally.
Andy Bragg, Global KAITEKI Regulatory Manager, says:
“The EcoVadis assessment looks to establish the current performance of an organisation against benchmark international Corporate Social Responsibility requirements. It establishes how well a company is managing practices, policies, and actions against these standards. This external validation gives stakeholders a structured insight into our practices in the areas of environmental and social responsibility”.
It’s thanks to the efforts of everyone at Cassel Site that a result like this is possible, and it proves our commitment to continuously improving the way we put best practices in place to meet international standards.
